Do hot shot drivers need a Class A CDL?
Class A is welcome, and some hot shot work may fit Class B drivers depending on the truck, trailer, freight, and lane.
Where do Reno hot shot drivers run?
Common lanes include Nevada, California, Arizona, Oregon, Utah, and other western states depending on customer demand.
What does True Blue pay company drivers and owner-operators?
$0.60 per mile for company drivers, with all miles paid weekly by direct deposit. Owner-operators keep 100% of gross profit on every load they pull.
What is home time like for Reno-based drivers?
Regional drivers are home weekly. OTR runs are 14 days out and 2 days off. Drivers based in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and northern Nevada are prioritized for routes that return through the area.
What equipment will I drive?
True Blue runs 2022 and newer Freightliners, with sleeper berths on long-haul trucks and reefer, dry van, flatbed, and hot shot configurations depending on the lane.
